The Tournament Everyone Cares About: NIT Bracket Released

The NIT – National Invitation Tournament, but really the Not Invited Tournament – is a group of teams that were decent, but not good enough to be invited into the NCAA Tournament over teams like La Salle and Middle Tennessee State. All NIT games will be on ESPN and most games actually feature high-profile, big conference teams. Kentucky, Alabama, Tennessee, Stanford, Maryland, Baylor and Virginia make up some of the teams invited to this event. So, if you just aren’t getting enough college basketball action from March Madness, turn over to the NIT to see John Calipari coach Kentucky like Lane Kiffin “coached” USC in the Sun Bowl. No one wants to be there but I’m sure the coaches get a semblance of a bonus check if they perform well.
